C-TPAT
Blaser & Mericle's Customs Brokerage operations is currently a member of the prestigious C-TPAT program administered by U.S. Customs & Border Protection. C-TPAT (Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) is a joint government-business initiative to secure the inbound supply chain against acts of terrorism that would be harmful to lives, property and commerce. Participating businesses ensure security in theirs and their business partners' processes. C-TPAT members' security programs are continually reviewed by Customs to maintain their certification.
Members in good standing are eligible for reduced security exams on their inbound cargo, and Lynden's certification offers competitive advantages to its customers, including: Improved overall supply chain security; Reduced border inspection; Immediate awareness and adherence to regulation changes.
C-TPAT members are 3 times less likely to be examined.
